Students Advance to Next Round
In October of last year, I began meeting with students who were interested in preparing an entry to this year's Letters About Literature Contest. After four supporting lessons, in early December, I submitted 22 entries from students in all three grade levels.Last week, I received word that the following students have advanced to round 3 judging:
Agnes Navaratne, Keagan Vernon,Georgia Sinclair, Shelby Hickey, Isabel Dufford and Rachael Bradshaw.
In Colorado, only 60 students progressed to round 3 and six of them were from Manitou!! What an achievement!
State judging will be complete on or before March 22 and we should hear the final results shortly after.
